As your technical skills develop, you’ll take on increasing responsibility and progress toward more advanced systems administration work. It’s an opportunity to build a strong foundation in enterprise infrastructure, automation, operational reliability, and security. - Assist with DNS, DHCP, certificate tracking, service-account administration, and other core infrastructure services. - Investigate routine infrastructure incidents and service requests, documenting troubleshooting steps, findings, and resolutions within the IT service management platform. - Escalate complex, high-risk, or business-impacting issues to the appropriate technical owners. - Create and maintain knowledge articles, checklists, technical documentation, and operating procedures. - Participate in operational triage, cross-training, continual-improvement initiatives, and approved maintenance activities. - Support infrastructure, migration, and acquisition-integration projects through discovery, inventory validation, readiness reviews, data collection, cutover validation, and post-change monitoring. Requirements - High school diploma plus up to four years of relevant IT support or infrastructure experience. - Two years of college coursework, technical training, or trade-school education in information technology, computer systems, networking, cybersecurity, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and practical experience. - Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP networking fundamentals. - Ability to troubleshoot workstations, operating systems, software, and basic infrastructure services. - Ability to follow technical procedures, manage assigned tasks, work within established processes, and maintain accurate documentation. - Clear written and verbal communication skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and a collaborative approach. - Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and develop progressively toward greater technical independence. - Commitment to following information-security policies, procedures, and operational best practices.
